And the reason people don't use the Slowking move is because it's only on Slowking.

@cbptrash11863 Yeah, abilities that prevent status also heal the status if you have them after having an ability applied. IIRC the same is true for Limber, Water Veil, and Insomnia/Vital Spirit/Comatose.

@pumpketo Can't say that about pokemon anymore though. That hasn't been the case for 3 generations now. I personally never liked digimon games as much as pokemon, but the opposite was the case for anime. Now things are taking a weird flip for me.

@SplashPlateVGC Go kind of killed the appeal of underlevelled Pokemon. You can just get anything at any level in Go, so searching out things like a level 9 Pidgeotto isn't a big deal anymore.
