On Saturday, January 24, 2026, in beautiful Fort Pierce, Florida, at 13th Street Church of God, the genesis of the #ProtestCOG movement will begin. #ProtestCOG is a series of peaceful protest gatherings and meetings calling for transparency, accountability, and reform within Church of God - Cleveland, TN leadership—specifically within the Cocoa, Florida jurisdiction, where serious fiduciary concerns have gone unanswered for over a decade. These gatherings will continue at various Church of God–related meetings across the country, culminating in Orlando, Florida, during the Church of God 80th International General Assembly in July 2026. While a Prayer & Praise Conference, Communion & Consecration Service is scheduled for 10:00 AM on January 24, participants in #ProtestCOG will be peacefully assembling outside, making their voices heard and calling for responsible leadership. This is not about disruption.
This is about conscience.

On #AlMayadeen’s program Demystifying Iran, Mohammad Marandi, Professor of English Literature and Orientalism at the University of Tehran, reflected on a brief period after September 11 when #Tehran believed relations with #Washington might improve. Iran condemned the attacks, shared intelligence, and hoped the U.S. had learned from decades of hostility. However, that hope was shattered in 2002 when President Bush labeled #Iran as part of the "Axis of Evil," leading to years of sanctions and economic pressure that severely impacted ordinary Iranians. Marandi also highlighted how even the 2015 nuclear deal became a test of bad faith signed but then directly undermined reinforcing a core Iranian conviction: "America negotiated in bad faith, using diplomacy not for peace, but as another tool of warfare."
