I don't shave my body hair, I have PCOS so I have a moustache and chin hair that I rarely bother to do anything about, and I have progressive hair loss so I am balding at the crown and have thin, limp hair. 🤷♀️ I am fine with it mostly

@LividEllen @spekktral_ I was bullied and ostracized for having short hair and wearing my brother's old clothes for most of my child/teenagehood. I want desirability because I want access to power, financial stability, professional esteem etc but not on an interpersonal level.

I was alienated from womanhood and other girls since childhood for not performing femininity and not trying to be desirable to men. It frustates me to constantly be told my experiences/tastes are not real

@LividEllen @spekktral_ When people say "women can't throw" "women can't work [x] job" it pisses me off in the exact same way. Point is women are not a monolith, you can talk about how evil and awful this shit is without saying "no woman enjoys this or wants this"
