I have just finalized drafting letters on the monetisation of digital platforms in Uganda, with particular emphasis on X (Twitter). These have been addressed to the Speaker, Deputy Speaker, Cabinet. & State Ministries of ICT, the Executive Director of UCC, and a Member of Parliament who has expressed willingness to table the matter on the floor of Parliament. I will be delivering hard copies of these letters to the respective offices on Wednesday, and that is when I will be able to share the full details with you. On the same day, I will be hosted on Star TV in the early morning to discuss this subject. Thereafter, I will be meeting with a private sector player who is deeply passionate about Uganda’s digital transformation and has the networks and influence to help advance this cause. I will also visit the office of the State Minister for ICT, who has indicated that his office maintains an open-door policy. I’m hopeful and optimistic about the impact of this effort. 🙏 #BringStripeToUg
