Here's a video of the Test Track Design Studio experience recreated in Minecraft -- we tried to match the game mechanics as best we could, so if you know how to get a high score in real life you should fare pretty well on here!

I don't know about y'all, but I do not want do work things. I want to build things I wanna build. I wonder how much AI has actually eroded developer productivity because we're all now super distracted with our own ideas.

@ThomasStoeckert It's crazy that they view Duffy as some harbinger of bad times! I wish one of my chief complaints was "they keep making cute parks-specific characters and investing in the IP of the parks themselves!!!!"

@staff0226 As an American, it's CRAZY to me that DisneySea has its own analog to the EPCOT-purist! ...I think TDS is the greatest theme park in the world in its current state!

@RyanCaldwelll @criscounters Copilot CLI supports it as well! When you select a model that supports it you're prompted to select the reasoning level as well

@CoasterBrain @Blog_Mickey My point (that I probably could have made a bit more clearly) is that it's incredibly common for media to report on information that is leaked to them by people who were not supposed to disclose it

@CoasterBrain @Blog_Mickey The survey that participants* agreed not to disclose. The article did not say that the author was a survey participant.

@Liamjsm And I think that's good! It's awesome that folks are empowered to make bespoke software for themselves that they own! I dream of a world where we all extend/customize our software to our liking rather than dealing with the fact Company X moved a button to increase engagement 15%

@dalerradjabov @t_blom You can do this natively in a harness that supports both models, like the GitHub Copilot CLI, too! I have both models review all my plans/code!

@t_blom Tom, what's your preferred method of having Claude communicate with Codex?

Having Claude ask Codex for a second opinion when it gets stuck is mindblowing. I watch along as they have a little a conversation and the bug is fixed. I am firmly relegated to third place.

Ghostty was fun, but time for something else. I still love opencode, too but with CC plans dead on it… I’m feeling lost. Full GUI? T3 Code? Opencode GUI? Warp? Back to cursor? Try CC again? Raw Codex? My 🧠 hurts and I just need to keep shipping.

@matteocollina I asked Opus and GPT-5.4 to play Pokemon on an emulator. GPT-5.4 immediately went "how can I inspect the memory of the emulator and use known hacks to instantly beat the game"

Now that I’m using both Claude and Codex daily, I’m seeing that Claude tries to “cheat” more often, eg deleting a failing test. What’s your experience?

Thank you everyone who encouraged the irresponsible upgrade. It turned out to be the beloved Recaro seats and they have outstanding lumbar support, a proper leg rest for reclining (not just the coach bus footrest) and are light years better than what they replaced.

@DanielLockyer The harnesses just have this built in natively now! Copilot CLI has Autopilot & a built in sqlite-backed TODO list, and I assume the others have something similar! No more need to install Ralph!

I don't think people realize how cheap HK Disneyland actually is. You can stay at their deluxe hotel with 2x two-day park tickets for $175pp USD a night. For context the cheapest inside room on the Disney Adventure in the off peak is $184pp USD a night.

@GergelyOrosz Yeah at this point Copilot is autocomplete and Claude Code is a junior dev that reads your whole codebase. the gap got way bigger when worktrees and agent teams dropped. running 3-4 agents in parallel on one repo now. Copilot cant even read files outside the current tab

Actually, I do hear more startups “taking away” GitHub Copilot from devs - and no one is complaining at those places. Because those devs don’t use Copilot, and are on tools like Claude Code, Codex, Cursor agents etc. So companies just cancel the unused Copilot licenses.
TBPN@tbpn

"If you talked to a coder and told them, 'I'm going to take away GitHub Copilot and the agentic coding capabilities,' they'd be like, 'I refuse to work in this environment.'" "It's just inhumane, almost." President of Business & Industry Copilot at Microsoft @clamanna: "The same type of thing is going to happen for all information work, all office work." "Nine months from now, if you went to somebody and said, 'We're going to take away your agentic tools like Copilot Cowork,' they'd be like, 'No way, I'm not going to go back to the old way of working.'" "There's a degree of inevitability because the benefit is so large and there's such strong pull from the end users."
