@Pete___Hughes @SOH767 Umm that is very inaccurate - tournament go from 7am to roughly 9:30pm for all mites-bantams (novice) teams because during winter break they don't have school the next day! Also American coverage or World Juniors is limited to NHL network which many people don't have access to.

I’ll never understand how Americans haven’t gotten into the World Juniors. It’s basically the March Madness of Hockey. You support the NCAA like CRAZY. High School Hockey in Minnesota gets way more fans than this. Why? These are the best Players outside of the NHL.

@BMacD10 @MNHockeyStar I think the response is an updated point structure that rewards regulation wins! You should get less points if you win in OT/shootout - might get teams to push more for winning in regulation!

@Ryan_Mitchell7 @MNHockeyStar Good stat! They should play that way in the regular season. Maybe after one OT nobody gets a point if still tied? Why does it have to be different?

3 on 3 Hockey and Shootouts are only meant for regular season play and should never dictate the outcome of Playoff Hockey in any way.

@Ryan_Mitchell7 @ScoootsMcGoots @MNHockeyStar You’d have to have a full intermission before what could be a 20 minute period. Impacts travel for back-to-backs ( which don’t exist in the playoffs unless they’re in the same building).

@TonyMillerRE @MNHockeyStar It is fine in regular season - the NHL does need to fix the points system to more reward winning in regulation vs 3 on 3 or shootout.

Adding one extra period isn't that big of a deal - also both UND players went back and played a game the next day so they don't seem too concerned about playing right after!

@MNHockeyStar Yea, I’m sure you’ve been in tourneys where it went 5x5, 4x4,… it’s still indicative of real hockey. Shoutout sucks, so does 3 0Ts. In fact the game changes as well, tighten up, dump pucks, whistles. Also, 3x3 they they to make an opposite offside rule, stay in the zone
