Provincial Vice President, @JKNC_ Kashmir and MLA Hazratbal @salmanalisagar today visited and offered condolences to Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat on the passing of his nephew at Tailbal and to Gulzar Ahmad Bhat on the passing of his brother at Zakoora. Fatiha was offered, and prayers were made for eternal peace to the departed souls and for strength to the bereaved families.

Visited Barji Payeen today and interacted with locals who apprised me of various issues concerning the area. Assured them of early redressal and reiterated my commitment towards resolving every genuine public issue. Also assured that beautification works in the area will be taken up soon. As promised to #JJMPHE #Contractors, today along with J&K PHE Contractors Coordination President Nazir Ahmed Mir and others called on the Hon’ble Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment Jinab @JavedRanaa Sahab at Civil Secretariat regarding the matter. The Hon’ble Minister assured some relief on Eid and also a long-term resolution, which may take some time but, as assured issue will be resolved as HCM @OmarAbdullah sahab is personally keen to solve the problem of contractor.

Along with party associates from my Assembly segment Hazratbal, I called upon Hon’ble Minister for Health & Medical Education, School & Higher Education and Social Welfare Ms. @sakinaitoo Sahiba today and expressed my heartfelt gratitude for clearing the proposal regarding the much-awaited Sub District Hospital, Hazratbal by granting the 100-metre relaxation for resumption of construction work. This significant decision, taken under the dynamic leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Jinab @OmarAbdullah sahab has brought immense relief to the people of Hazratbal and adjoining areas. A delegation of CSFK Health comprising prominent doctors, educationists and social workers today called upon Hon’ble Minister for Health & Medical Education, School Education and Social Welfare Ms. @sakinaitoo Sahiba to discuss measures for effective control, monitoring and prevention of drug addiction in educational institutions. MLA Hazratbal @salmanalisagar Sahab accompanied the delegation during the meeting, wherein detailed discussions were held on strengthening awareness campaigns, counselling mechanisms, monitoring systems and coordinated preventive measures to safeguard the youth from the menace of substance abuse.

Chaired a comprehensive review meeting of senior officers from all line departments at Chatterhama today, alongside local representatives and party associates to assess the progress of developmental works pertaining to Rural Block Harwan. During the meeting, a fresh proposal comprising various developmental projects and public-demanded works amounting to nearly Rs. 6.50 crore was submitted to address pressing public issues and ensure holistic development across the rural areas of Harwan. The meeting was attended by the Chief Education Officer Srinagar, Divisional Fire & Emergency Services Officer, District Mineral Officer, BDO Harwan, BMO Hazratbal, ZMO Zadibal, Executive Engineers of various departments, Block Officers of Sheep Husbandry and Animal Husbandry departments, TSOs and other concerned officers, besides local party unit functionaries. @IrfanZehgeer @abidwani_

Visited 90 Feet Road to review the ongoing pedestrian walkway project and interacted with local residents, who apprised me of several other issues concerning the area. #Gratitude I express my heartfelt gratitude to Hon’ble Chief Minister J&K Jenab @OmarAbdullah Sahab for his extraordinary efforts and leadership in approving the much-awaited upgradation/completion of Sub-District Hospital Hazratbal by granting relaxation in the buffer zone restrictions under the Srinagar Master Plan 2035. I am equally thankful to our dynamic Health Minister Ms. @sakinaitoo Sahiba and the esteemed Council of Ministers for taking this historic decision in the larger public interest. I had consistently raised and pleaded this important matter in the Assembly, keeping in view the hardships faced by the people due to the long pendency of the project. I am grateful that the Hon’ble Chief Minister (@CM_JnK ) has now sanctioned this vital project, bringing major relief to the people of Hazratbal and adjoining areas. This decision will go a long way in strengthening healthcare infrastructure and ensuring better medical facilities for thousands of residents. Presided over a very insightful and productive meeting of the health department comprising Zone Hazratbal and Khanyar. CMO Sgr, BDO Sgr, BMO Hazratbal and all ZMO's and consultants from all hospitals, #NTPHCS and #UPHC's from both zones were present along side officials from R&B and allied departments. Many issues pertaining to both zones and srinagar in general came up for discussion. A proper follow up on all issues is our priority in the coming months inshallah. @IrfanZehgeer @abidwani_

The interaction provided an opportunity to hear firsthand the concerns of the people, who raised various issues related to City Roads, School Education, R&B, SMC, Drainage, PDD and other departments with officials & citizens one to one interaction. On-the-spot directions were issued to the concerned officers present to ensure timely redressal. I also assured the residents that maximum works will be taken up under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) to address these issues at the earliest. Today, flagged off a Smart Bus service at Danihama Chowk, connecting Batamaloo via Batpora to Danihama. The launch of this service will provide much-needed relief to daily commuters, particularly students, employees, and the general public who rely on public transport.
