Abalone baby cam! 🐚✨Tiny but mighty, say hello to our current cohort of white abalone! TBF is thrilled to be advancing abalone recovery in collaboration with the Pacific Coast Ocean Restoration Initiative, a statewide network working to restore key marine species and habitats🌊

TBF is proud to support the first dye tracer experiment in Santa Monica with @UCLAengineering! 💗 This research helps us better understand ocean circulation and water quality near the Pier. Huge thanks to @UCLAengineering, @santamonicacity, @pacpark & Santa Monica Pier! ✨

🐙 Yesterday was #WorldOctopusDay! We’re celebrating these brilliant creatures that call Santa Monica Bay home. 🌊 Did you know octopuses can change color, texture, and shape in seconds and have 3 hearts? 💙 This one was spotted by TBF in Redondo Beach’s King Harbor Marina!

What does bringing back abalone in SoCal look like? 🌊 Our team and partners just outplanted 5,000 juvenile red abalone off the Gaviota Coast bringing the total to 10,000! 🐚 Each one raised at The Cultured Abalone Farm and released into their new ocean home. 🌿 #AbaloneRecovery
