To clarify: Per source, UNC never actually OFFERED Tommy Lloyd the job.
But yes, financial discussions between parties indicated UNC was willing to make Lloyd one of the highest-paid coaches in America.

Sources: UNC offered Tommy Lloyd a top-two contract in CBB. Lloyd took less to stay, but will still bump up to $7.2 million starting next season. Staff pool also will get a huge bump + incentives brought back to their contract structures. He'll also no longer report to the AD.

Make no mistake, Darren Harris is a very talented player.
Yes, the season didn’t fully click for him, but the flashes were real and proved he can score in bunches.

I've seen a few fan-made lists floating around of players that they think are returning to Duke. I've yet to see even one that is remotely close to reality. Scheyer is hitting the portal hard. I think the bigger question is who, if anyone, will be added to the coaching staff

Duke has not lowered transfer standards at this time (this is my understanding)

@SNethers76145 @M_Bulger19 The issue Duke faces in the portal is we almost exclusively can only bring in grad transfers. Very very few other players academically qualify to transfer into Duke and Duke does take that seriously.

The rest are almost all grads

Cayden Boozer's 2nd half was predictable. No reason that Foster wasn't on the court when it mattered. The coach is supposed to make it clear that nothing needed to be forced. This loss is completely on Jon Scheyer. Very similar to staying with a struggling Sion James vs Houston
