I've seen a few fan-made lists floating around of players that they think are returning to Duke. I've yet to see even one that is remotely close to reality. Scheyer is hitting the portal hard. I think the bigger question is who, if anyone, will be added to the coaching staff

Jon Scheyer will get there. He will win a title at Duke. He should however get criticism.. as much as anyone else who comes up short with a great team. Learn from it

@Hankla @M_Bulger19 We had coward he just decided to stay in the draft. Hopefully after the 1st year of nil Duke relaxed the transfer credit process.

@SNethers76145 @M_Bulger19 The issue Duke faces in the portal is we almost exclusively can only bring in grad transfers. Very very few other players academically qualify to transfer into Duke and Duke does take that seriously. We almost had Cedric Coward. We got Maliq. The rest are almost all grads

Cayden Boozer's 2nd half was predictable. No reason that Foster wasn't on the court when it mattered. The coach is supposed to make it clear that nothing needed to be forced. This loss is completely on Jon Scheyer. Very similar to staying with a struggling Sion James vs Houston

Every possession that ends with a 3 pt attempt doesn’t solely include passes around the perimeter. Sometimes, the possession ends that way after players get hacked and grabbed when trying to penetrate. Other times, they do attack the basket, and they don’t get calls, and they give up trying to attack. Duke was called for four fouls in the first three minutes of the second half and then the whistle just happened to dry up.

St. John's averages 24.8 free throws per game. That's 20th in the country. Last night versus Duke, the Johnnies took 8 free throws. Duke took 24.
