@garcon29__ @BrudiVoeller @chrrkr Ich mag die Jungs eigentlich und verfolge sie seit den OF-Zeitenn. Aber die Doppelmoral (Katar vs. USA, Leipzig vs. PSG usw.) finde ich ziemlich abstoßend. Vielleicht richtet sich der Content auch eher an Jugendliche, die sich von diesem Pseudointellekt beeindrucken lassen. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I won't bother explaining legal considerations on X, and why, in such a situation, it'a preferable for the claimant to accept the offer rather than pursue litigation against a high-profile individual in court

@SSonnetti @scoopmalinowski Also, pls educate yourself about the German justice system before jumping on hate train and believe everything you read on Twitter. In Germany, domestic violence is a serious criminal charge. You don’t get to “settle” it away when there is evidence, even if both parties want to.

“Dropped” is doing a lot of work here. One case ended in a €200,000 settlement, with the court explicitly stating that the decision was not a ruling on guilt or innocence. The ATP investigation into the other allegations found insufficient evidence for discipline; it did not determine that the allegations were false. The idea that journalists should stop discussing allegations simply because a case didn’t result in a conviction is a bizarre standard. Sponsorship decisions, fan sentiment, and public reputation don’t operate according to criminal burdens of proof. If they did, there wouldn’t be a story. The fact that brands, fans, and even tennis itself are still grappling with these questions is precisely why the subject remains relevant.

100% false. God for fucking bid ppl read and learn. He DID challenge them in court. He ASKED for the trial. She didnt show up to testify and then asked for the case to be stopped. You can't pay someone off in a criminal case. It was a custody and child support settlement. The media mistranslated half of what happened

@SSonnetti @scoopmalinowski HE was the one who brought it to the court, she then didn't appear in trial and wanted to withdraw, they then settled and HE had to pay settlement (for the court, NOT FOR HER) because HE was the one who brought it to the court. He chose to settle because of their daughter.
