Rest in peace, Rondale. My thoughts are with the Moore family and anyone else who was lucky enough to have met him, he was a great man and was taken from this world far too soon.

Purdue just misses out on this list with 30 transfers in.

@WAClax44 QB was never going to be addressed. Staff believes they have a B1G caliber QB.

@STATtlemyer Still no QB. I don't see defense pitching shutouts so nothing new.

With Purdue having seemingly finalized their portal class, here is where my projected depth chart stands. Movement on the OL is the biggest change, small changes elsewhere with new additions slotting into mostly backup roles.

@JamesPhipps15 Slusher declared for the NFL Draft back in December.

Purdue seems content with a 34-man portal class.

One player signed with #Purdue football without an announcement. LB / EDGE Tre Moore who’s coming from San Diego (FCS). He will have 1 year of eligibility left, last season he had 61 tackles, 8.5 TFL, 6 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and an interception.

Cal has signed Purdue TE transfer Rico Walker, @mzenitz and I have learned for @CBSSports. Walker caught 9 passes for 100 yards this year. He's a former four-star recruit who's made career stops at Auburn and Maryland. 247sports.com/player/rico-wa…

@STATtlemyer Can't be about winning and kids who come just for money will disappoint.

Purdue lands a big one. Modozie was linked to South Carolina among other schools but Barry is able to land the Georgia EDGE.

@Boiler_up89 Cheap out is a relative term. He, like every other P4 QB, is a 7 figure contract, but he's also probably one of the cheapest in the P4. I think the talent will make a difference, but not enough to get us to bowl eligibility as it stands.

@STATtlemyer I get that. I’ve also heard Browne isn’t cheap though. Qb is the most important position is my issue with whatever talent is being brought in. Is it enough to make that difference?

2025 Nitro Tuggle - 7 drops, 0 fumbles 2025 Michael Jackson III - 3 drops, 2 fumbles 2023 Deion Burks (projected first round pick) - 8 drops, 0 fumbles 2023 Devin Mockobee - 1 drop, 2 fumbles 2022 Charlie Jones - 3 drops, 1 fumble Huh.

@BoilerBandsman If you truly think they were "running the wrong routes" I have a bridge to sell you. Lip service to save face since they knew the receivers were gone and Browne would stay on his shiny new 7 figure deal.

@STATtlemyer Yards and TDs: Tuggle - 500, 4 MJ3 - 565, 1 Burks - 641, 7 Mock - 991, 7 Jones: 1364, 12 Mock: 1242, 9 Those guys handled a ton more touches (Burks was overrated & is not a first rounder), and were WAY more productive. Not to mention how often the first 2 ran the wrong route.

@Boiler_up89 Going cheap on QB has allowed the team to get significantly better at key spots like RB, WR, DB, and LB, but I do wish we had a different passer.

@STATtlemyer Agreed. I don’t understand it. At the very least bring in competition. But this is my issue with having any hope in this team winning more than 3. Of course I hope they prove me wrong and make me look like a fool.
