@KoachVaughn Me personally, I am going to have to stop racing my men in the indoor 200, it hurts their bodies too much. So I wouldnt mind the 300 as a more common alternative.

@SamPeters___ I thought that too but wouldn’t the same thing be true for lane 3 and 4? The 500 or 600 intrigues me too. A lot of people race the 500 like the 4 and 600 like an 8 I have a friend who mentioned the 150 one time. Or we can continue to keep lining up and racing 200s

Question to my fellow coaches Indoor 200s If lane 3 and 4 are “the lanes of death” and the probability of running fast and advancing to a final are low…. Should we rethink the indoor 200 as an event? Or at least have a conversation. I’m curious about it.

Unsigned JUCO sophomores, Chris Lee: 10.58, Great Talent, Great work ethic Bryce Hill: 10.63, 21.36, and 48.0 split on 4x4. Workhorse, and leader. They will run faster this year. Coaches get in contact now before it's too late!

A benefit of JUCO, ive noticed, and isnt talked about alot: Many athletes, including the very best, realize that running isn't something they want to do for all 4 years. And would rather focus on academics their junior and senior year or stop after getting their associates.

@Tier1athlete What shoes do you recommend? I have a young lady that uses Nike free runs are these good?

I always tell kids to stay away from any running shoe with a lot of sole. They are flirting with a ticking bomb that will explode when it comes to their ankles or lower body injuries. I have them do any kind of lateral movement & record them in slow motion & show them why.
