This stunning #helmet is known as the Meyrick Helmet. Made of bronze, with characteristic #Celtic decoration -La Tene style-. It may have belonged to a #Roman auxiliary, originally from the N of England. 1 of 4 IronAge helmets discovered in Britain to this day. @britishmuseum
