#MayDay is a reminder that the strength of New York has always come from working people. From the tragedy of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire to the rise of the modern labor movement, New York helped lead the fight for safer workplaces, fair wages, and basic dignity on the job. As Governor, I was proud to build on that legacy by raising the minimum wage, passing paid family leave, protecting union workers, and delivering major infrastructure projects with labor at the table. The labor movement is not about politics - it is about dignity, fairness, and opportunity.

In Uptown and The Bronx, May Day isn't an abstract history lesson, it's a mirror. This is a day to honor the transit workers, nurses, teachers, laborers, and caregivers who have always refused to accept less than they deserve and risked everything to fight for a better future for the next generation.
Uptown is a union town, always has been. I am running for Congress to protect that legacy.

May Day is International Workers' Day.
UAW President Shawn Fain has called on the rest of the labor movement to join us in preparing to strike on May Day 2028. It’s our opportunity to create a crisis for the billionaire class to win more for all of us.
When workers align their fights to the same timeline, we have more leverage than we do alone. What if we didn’t just do that in a corporate chain or one union, but across the country and the labor movement?
Now is the time to get ready to create that May Day crisis for the bosses.

New York, let's get organized.
In a city of over 8 million, just 400 people showed up to speak at the last Rent Guidelines Board hearing — where decisions about rents are made.
We can do better.
If we want a city that works for tenants and landlords alike, we need New Yorkers to show up and make their voices heard.
The next hearings are this June. Visit ORGANIZE.NYC.GOV to get involved.

As a LGBTQ+ leader I support @LindseyBoylan!
She is best suited for working LGBTQ+ people. Lot of people have been priced out or are struggling to afford living in the city, especially gig workers/artists.
