@ZMBennett My mom was also a children's librarian whose work wasn't much known, but affected many children. Your mom was a great success. She brought children and books together. I don't think there's any achievement greater than that. May her memory always be a blessing in your life

My mom Jan died today. She was a dedicated children's librarian who impacted countless kids. She was not particularly successful professionally and most of her work went unnoticed. But it still mattered. And I just want to put that out into the universe.
