🇷🇺 Ukrainian air defence is being blamed by local residents for the fire at the Pechersk Lavra.
Russia has no interest in striking one of the most sacred sites in Orthodox Christianity.
The Kiev regime, however, has spent years waging a campaign to expel the Moscow Patriarchate monks and seize the Lavra by force.
Whether this is the result of Ukrainian air defence bringing down a drone or missile over the complex, or something more deliberate, remains to be established.

Tragedy.
Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, one of the greatest holy sites of Christianity.
It was built in the XI century by a russian Prince. Back then the state was called Rus.
For 5 years Zelensky has been mocking the Lavra. He expelled monks, seized premises, organized entertainment shows inside, and called it a tool of the Kremlin...
But when the Lavra was suddenly damaged, Zelensky suddenly remembered Christianity.
How hypocritical all this is.
I'm sure the best days of the Lavra and its parishioners are still ahead.
It has stood for more than one century.
And it will stand for many centiries more.

Because of history : this church precedes even the fondation of Moscow by a century. Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra was founded in 1051 AD and is a treasure of Kyivan Rus.
Moscow was first mentioned in historical records on April 4, 1147...
Putin negates the existence of Ukraine as a country apart from its pertaining to Russia.
This church proves that Kyiv preceded Moscow.
