@MacKinnonCarly @ThePatClifton Yup. Go to ANY rugby game at the MLR level, and you’ll see 30-50% of the people lean over to the person sitting next to them and ask, “what was that penalty for?” Or “why did they kick it away?” Americans want understanding... not to be pandered to.

That said, Dunafon couldn’t be more wrong about TV. For Americans to fall in love, they don’t need to see 🏈 in short shorts. They need to understand 🏉. To understand it is to love it. They have to see the patterns of play, be able to call the overlaps and cry for cross kicks.
