The van driver was the same both deliveries not his fault this was put on as before noon not before 10am, And how the heck does a warehouse lose a parcel that size, their own tracking system booked it into the local hub and it disappeared

Just opened a pack of 3 new bandsaw blades. Then packed them back up. To return. They have THE WORST FUCKING WELDING I've ever seen on a saw blade. They'd snap on first use. Went to website...and this is a promo pic. See anything wrong here? Fucking pricks

@AndyWoodturner Is it purely functional or just decorative? By the sound of it its not actually decorative, & based on if it looks right it probably is it doesn't sound functional, a future I told you so?

Just finished a commission. *Precisely* to customer's design/spec. I will not be signing it. It is not pretty. But it *is* exactly what was requested..."the customer is always right" has never been so wrong...

@clark_aviation My first boss got thrown out of the RAF, post combat aerobatics, or probably actually arranging for someone to photograph him, the picture was used for his obituary.low pass inverted with the fin in the gap between two hangars (think it was a wellington)

Trev Clark's Obscure Aviation History 🚁
It's been a while since I first posted this remarkable image. An RAF Avro Lancaster bomber performing a very low pass on just one engine. This feat was a popular 'party piece' for a few very skilled pilots, together with a very deft flight engineer!

@BenGoldsmith @Feargal_Sharkey I suspect the obsession with pumping flood waters away instead of letting them soak away naturally is why our ground water aquifers are getting depleted

'We're not getting rid of the water fast enough' I cannot emphasise enough how insane it is to spend barrels of public money pumping water out of a *wetland*. We are draining an ecological treasure to protect some of the crappest farmland in England. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

My wife has made a critical error, her son & grandson aren't coming to stay the week before easter. She should've told me on Monday after I'd made the house toddler safe

Fact of the Day: The B2 Stealth Fighter features No Internal Piloting System and can be flown remotely via WiFi or USB-C cable from up to 80,085km away. It takes 717.5 cans of Stealth Paint to cover a B2 before it becomes invisible Photographed from a Canberra

@AndyWoodturner I didn't realise it deleted the files from my PC when I first set up one drive, took me ages to get them back on my PC hard drive, deleted from one drive & to then disable it, cloud is OK for back up, I don't want to use something beyond my control for primary storage

@clark_aviation Imagine a B52 with 4 pairs of merlin engines 40" square Vs 40" diameter 1 would probably need to be inverted to get the exhaust clearances & you'd have to sync the props or maybe 1 pusher 1 puller side by side

This bridge is on the HS2 route itvwas put in a few years back & replaced a disused bridge. They are now building a bridge to the north of it the deck of which is at the same level as this one, so presumably this is going to get demolished & tge track go through at this road

There is the memorial in Cardington, that is their grave of course but there is next to nothing in Bedford. We have the faces statue in Bedford so why not a monument to the largest British built aircraft ever with it's heroic crew in the town.

This is AI before luddites join in, but attached is an important question.... Should there me a monument in Bedford remembering those that lost their lives in the R101 airship disaster nearly 100 years ago.
