Fact: Tennis star Mario and Princess Peach organise the Mario Tennis league and tournaments such as the Mario Star Tournament or the Mushroom Kingdom Tennis Tournament.
Top athletes from all over take part in the Mario Tennis league, including Bowser and Bowser’s Minions.

Licensed guides are not. They are written by third parties, and are the sources that say things like “Peach and Daisy are cousins”.

Fact: Wario and Waluigi are not brothers, blood related or even friends. They're said to be partners or accomplices with common interests. They team up during tournaments to compete with Mario and Luigi, but don't seem to spend much time together outside of those activities.

Iirc Martinet was the first person to say Waluigi is not Wario's brother, but just a dude who gets together with him for unethical shenanigans. Then in one of the olympic games it became official they are not related.

@SenderwalkTest for clarity, i'm not complaining about the overarching plot but more like the dialogue in individual scenes. there are a ton of tiny plotholes. for example another thing i found nonsensical is when you go to mushrise park and brickle just has eldream's pillow for some reason

Fact: Bongos are magical instruments passed down on DK Island since long ago. They are made from the Rhythm Banana Tree.
In Donkey Konga, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong find a pair of bongos by the beach and learn to play them.

@Vinnymacx82 @BlueDeKrass They’re “okaying” them, but it doesn’t come from them and doesn’t influence what they’re doing in the games whatsoever. It’s very easy to okay something passable.
We even have instances of Illumination altering/rejecting Nintendo designs, like they did with Mario’s family.

Nintendo is not directing or producing these movies. Aside from some oversight on things like character design, Nintendo artists are not involved.
