@myunluckynumber @revenant_MMXX honestly I think its only a likable mechanic when there's a way to move past it eventually. Like mending in minecraft, cuz it doesn't make all the durability stuff from before you got it go away, but now you are rewarded for deciding to reach the end game, so it feels fair.

@DiabolicalDuck8 @Reave if a game needs a constant internet celeb presence for you to feel interested and engaged then that might just be a you issue/the game doesn't stand enough on its own to keep players. Normal people do not care about streamers, they care if the game they bought is fun to play.

i'm starting to realize the primary reason behind them implementing aggression-based matchmaking is actually to contain the cheaters
this matchmaking algorithms is more effective than most anti-cheats and ensures that the casual playerbase will never cross paths with a cheater

@Griotabib @JLikesMovies at best its adding in details to prior events that allows viewers to come to the conclusions that vader would actually know the details of carbon freezing and its relative safety, but its not important enough to be some lore lynchpin. Just a fun thing to think about I guess

@JLikesMovies Nah I get that but the quoted post seems to be implying that Vader had knowledge that Han would survive from his past experience with it. Is that actually what the canon is now? I haven’t been keeping up with it

We really don’t talk enough about how Anakin, Obi-Wan, and their clones froze themselves in carbonite in The Clone Wars. The reason that Vader was so confident that Han Solo would survive the freezing process in Empire is because he, himself was frozen years prior. Brilliant.

Yes, why shouldn't I press the "nuke all enemies, win the game" button? Players will alway optimize the fun out of every game, and good game design mustn't let that happen.

@PersonthePerso2 ofc it would have been BOTW, the base idea for BOTW was demoed using the original Zelda game and doing what they could never do back in the day.
BOTW also has double the sales of Ocarina, more know of it than the older game.
