This is how you are. I can't take this abuse anymore. I'm leaving you." You: "No wait, please don't. What just happened? I'm sorry." <------- THIS is what they want - and they will gaslight, deflect, and manipulate until they get it. They want to get away with doing whatever they want secretly, no matter how selfish and awful, and then make YOU feel guilty for finding out and being hurt. It's the real abuse. And it's destructive to the heart/soul/mind/spirit and makes you physically ill.

Narcissists will stick to a lie even when it’s completely obvious that they’re lying. Even when there is proof. They recklessly double down to seemingly prove themselves to be honest to others. But everything they ever say is a lie, and nobody is impervious. They don’t change.

@scrid_hb @DisneyD23 Nah, was using Chrome. I waited through 40K people a second time and it finally gave me an error screen when it was my turn. I reloaded the page and was actually able to get in and make a purchase this time. Phew.

Hey @DisneyD23 - your ticketing system sucks. I was put in the queue with 42,000 people ahead of me. I waited patiently for an hour until my turn finally came up. Then the page reloaded, timed out, and kicked me back down to #43145 in the queue again. What the actual hell.

My friend, I don't even have to imagine... I have lived it multiple times recently. With their family supporting the insanity and their friends helping facilitate the lies and bad behavior. People who have known me for years and I thought cared about me. The past 6 months have been just totally gut wrenching and shocking beyond belief. Like an alternate reality I woke up in where nothing is what I thought it was. My whole heart and mind have gone numb from the repeated shock. Never ever ever ever think you know someone.

@SethHendrix I experienced something like that but imagine that person convincing there entire family to back up a lie and that's after you helped them out of a serious jam. That was one painful mistake I know I won't make again. 😔

One thing about relationship that we have failed to understand in this generation is that you cannot do just anything you wish when you’re in a relationship. You have to consider your partner’s interest too. You can’t be in a relationship and still want to enjoy the benefits that comes with being single.

@kevin_nealon For 99% of sketches, I agree. The breaks are only funny if they're extremely rare and we (the audience) believe the cast is geniunely trying hard to avoid them. With that said, there's several classic sketches where the breaks MADE them good. Mostly Will Ferrell stuff.

I never broke character on SNL. I knew how much time the writers put into those scripts. You don’t want to be the one who throws it off. Lorne doesn’t like when the cast breaks. Even if the audience laughs, it doesn't work for the sketch. If I could get through the Chippendales sketch, I could get through anything.

Life needs to come with a one-time ejection seat so you can bail out of your current messy situation as fast as possible - and then just watch that plane crash into the mountains while you float comfortably down to a new fresh life (and maybe a Taco Bell).

@_mymsgs That's why it's called "building" a relationship. It's work - but work that's worth it. And no one is perfect. When you really love someone, you stay committed to working through the difficult moments with them.

When you finally meet that someone who tries their hardest to be with you regardless of how difficult you are, stay with them. Stay with them because finding someone who is willing to be with you at all cost doesn’t happen every day.

When life gets complicated and confusing, start keeping a detailed journal. Write everything down - things that happen, your observations, your thoughts/feelings, what other people say/do, everything. Then look back at it occasionally for clarity. It helps. Trust me on this.
