Hey @ShadebaX, just a quick note for you, since your reading comprehension and media literacy scores are probably really low:
X-Men literally is and always has been an allegory for racism and discrimination. The "woke" is baked in.
Too bad your soft ass can't handle that.
🚨#BREAKING: X has announced a major change to its creator payout program for this cycle
They announced that they are testing new tools to better identify who actually created original content, and will start giving a portion of the revenue directly to those creators X says reposts and commentary will still be an important part of the platform, but the goal now is to reward people who create original, high-quality content that adds real value to the timeline
In simple terms, they want to pay the people who make the content, not just the accounts that help it go viral
The company says this change will help improve the overall quality of content on X and that the revenue-sharing program will continue to evolve to encourage creators to post their best work
For this creator payout cycle, we’re experimenting with new tools to identify original authors of content and allocating a portion of revenue to them.
Over the last few months, we've seen incredible work from original creators on X. Nick Shirley uncovered billions of dollars of fraud in hospice care. Charles Curran parodied global events with studio-quality videos. Will Manidis earned acclaim for his insightful articles on technology and AI.
Reposts & commentary will always be a core pillar of X, but our Revenue Sharing program should incentivize original, high-quality content that brings new value to the Timeline. This means rewarding the effort it takes to produce something, not just the poster who helped it travel furthest.
This is how we build a richer Timeline and how X continues to be the most valuable platform in the world. The Revenue Sharing program will continue to evolve to encourage creators to post their best content to X.
