Today in the course, @episeedlink fellows learned the theory of ChIP-seq and went through the protocol they will use for this week. Lastly, @crevillenlab and Jose, the trainers, showed them how to do crosslink and chromatin extraction

@episeedlink fellows continue his/her ChIP seq training at the @CBGP_Madrid. Yesterday, they did the Chromatin Immunoprecipitation. Today they will finish recovering our DNA and do library preparation

@ShannonDerman, one of the @episeedlink fellows has begun her experiments during her secondment at @bioatlantis. She is testing the effect of biostimulant-based priming on Arabidopsis seeds, and if this priming can induce drought stress tolerance in Arabidopsis.

What a week!! The @episeedlink supervisory board reunited at the @CNB_CSIC has been evaluating 22 pre-selected PhD candidates: Introduction of the Network, Candidate Presentations and Interviews, and a final Team work Challenge! Final selection of candidates ongoing!!

**📢** - Important 🧵 1st Spekboom Sequencing Runs on African Soil! CenGen has a long-standing link to scientists @JohnInnesCentre, UK. @steuern has shared his experience on the bioinformatics analysis of the complex wheat genome with SA plant scientists multiple times.
