NASA satellite measurements confirm parts of the San Francisco Bay Area are subsiding at roughly 10mm per year. What the coverage buried: the study attributes this to compacted bay fill — artificially reclaimed land settling under its own weight. Dredged sediment doing what dredged sediment does. NASA’s own conclusion. Not climate change. Compaction.
The “more than double by 2050” projection applies exclusively to low-elevation reclaimed hotspots along the bay — not the region broadly. Regional tide gauges show ~7.4 inches of sea level rise projected to 2050. Add localized ground subsidence in filled zones and the combined local number climbs. That’s addition. Not escalation. Addition.
Earth has been inside a Quaternary Ice Age for 2.6 million years. Sea levels rose ~400 feet naturally following the last glacial maximum 21,000 years ago — driven entirely by orbital cycles, no industrial emissions required. The ocean has never been static. ESA’s Sentinel-1 data window runs 2015–2023. Eight years inside a multi-million-year geological story.
NASA’s actual finding: improve local monitoring and update infrastructure planning for vulnerable reclaimed zones. That is the paper. Everything else was written to get clicks.

His father, my husband's grandfather, served in WWI, met his wife in France, and returned with her to America, where they had two children. My brother-in-law was a captain in the Navy Reserve. My husband's uncle also served in the U.S. Navy. We treasure our armed forces!

Last Thursday, 3/12/26, @0hour1 and @SafetyNotorious tagged you in a post regarding another user and my account being banned on Wednesday, 3/11/26 for a brief suspension. It was due to an error on the part of X, as admitted in the attached screenshot.
At 1:18 AM on 3/12/26, I screenshot my 3 Month Account Analytics as shown. I had 5.3M Impressions. I had 0 Verified Followers.
At 6:16 AM on 3/12/26, my account had been restored. I screenshot my 3 Month Account Analytics as shown. I LOST 5.1M IMPRESSIONS! My 10.1K Verified followers were restored.
I contacted Creator Revenue Sharing I X Help and received the 2 replies in respect to the loss of my 5.1M Impressions.
In my opinion, this is very unfair to me that you would not restore the 5.1M Impressions that I had. I am a Premium Plus Member, ID Verified, monetized, have subscribers, and assist with reviewing, and writing Community Notes. My payouts have been donated to find missing children, and adults.
This is very wrong because I will now need to reach the 5M impression threshold to maintain monetization eligibility. I engaged, replied, and supported fellow users last year on a consistent basis to reach the goal of 5M Impressions. And, have been consistently doing so.
I would greatly appreciate that both of you consider reviewing my information, and making the necessary corrections. Not just for me, but for the other accounts that were briefly suspended as well! This issue on X needs to be addressed! Do what is right, please.
