@iaahmed123 NP40 buffers without SDS will lyse cells but not nuclei. Not sure how well the membrane fraction specifically is recoverable but I can send you a recipe if you DM me.

My dear membrane protein / GPCR biochemist friends: Do any of you have a protocol for extracting membrane fractions without using SDS? Basically, I want to treat the membrane fraction with PNGase (to deglycosylate a GPCR), but the SDS will deactivate it.
