@SheldonOConnor "Hit the rhubarb" refers to hitting the ditch. My truck slid off the road and into the ditch and I ended up stuck in a snow bank. It was -40° outside, I was 4 miles from my uncle's farm, and I had no cellular service.

For the new followers wondering who the hell I am... I am fueled by Timmies double-doubles and the occasional wobbly pop. I'm a proper stubble jumper so when it's above -20°C (-4°F), it's bunnyhug weather. I was taught to respect cobra chickens... especially momma cobra chickens. Maple syrup is an ingredient in an alarmingly high percentage of my recipes. I get around better in hockey skates than I do in shoes. I work too much, but I love my job. There's no place I'd rather be than on the farm... if I had the means, that's where I'd live. I've hit the rhubarb out on the back 40 in mid-winter and lived to tell about it.
