Morning all. I've had a lovely weekend away from my phone. Thanks to anyone who replied to my couple of posts the last couple of days. I'll endeavour to at least acknowledge them all today. Bright cold start here and a nice day in prospect. I cooked a brisket for me and the lad.

Another reminder of the theme of my old account... I was hostess with the mostess this weekend and hosted lunch with friends. Homemade sausage/bacon and egg pie with mustard pastry. (Yes, it was bloody nerve-wracking removing from the tin!) And a classic Vicky sponge xx
