The heart of a Guru GM R.B. Ramesh is one India's and world's finest chess trainers. He has been the coach of Vaishali and Pragg since they were around 2000 Elo strength. From there to now bringing them to this stage, he has played a big role! When both the siblings were going to go to Cyprus for the FIDE Candidates 2026, Ramesh told them that he would be there at the closing ceremony if any of them won the tournament. After 14 rounds of grueling chess, Vaishali had made it. She had won the tournament and earned the right to challenge Ju Wenjun for the world title. Ramesh was watching this unfold from his home in Chennai. The war situation in the middle east had made travelling quite difficult. Ramesh had tried before to get a ticket, but unsuccessfully. In desperation, he picked up his phone one last time to ask his travel agent if anything was possible! And guess what! This time it worked! The travel agent found a connection from Chennai - Dubai - Athens - Larnaca - Cap St. Georges and Ramesh quickly left his home. It was a race against time. The travel was more than 20 hours, but just like a Bollywood movie, Ramesh arrived a few minutes before Vaishali went on stage to receive the award. And guess what Vaishali spoke when she was given the mic. She shared her joy on receiving the trophy in front of her coach, who had travelled thousands of kilometers to just be present there. Guru, the word that is used for someone who is much more than just a coach, is something that fits in aptly for Ramesh. The Guru not just teaches you the art but also gives direction to your life. Question for everyone, was this victory for Sindarov in the Candidates his "Pearl Spring 2009" moment? In retrospect that event was when Carlsen became the best player in the world. Not yet convinced, but I'm also prepared to believe it might be the case, with further evidence.

Not even a single BJP supporter I know is showing any excitement about Bihar new CM Samrat Chaudhary. It took 75 years for BJP to have their own CM in Bihar and they put up the one of the most ineligible man on CM post. He ticks all the criteria of Tejashwi yadav whom Bihar keeps rejecting. > Education, not sure > Nepotism, very much sure > Past RJD, spent more time with RJD than in BJP. > His father was minister in same Lalu Rabri Govt who is infamous for Jungle Raj. Bihar Needed a dynamic, educated man with vision who could lift the state from poverty but No. Now I've started to believe in both theory 1. Top two BJP leaders don't want any other strong leader to emerge in BJP, they keep all puppets around them so that they can stay on top. Just look at the CM candidates of BJP in most of the states, be it MP, Rajasthan, Haryana, Utrakhand, Bihar etc.. you'll get the idea. 2. Even after 20yrs of BJP-JDU govt in Bihar, there is no job and industry growth in Bihar, that means Bihar is kept in poverty on purpose so that it can keep supplying low paying workers to South and West India. Right now it's is like if you're getting a CM post in BJP after winning the election, you are getting stamped by top leadership of being a weak leader who doesn't have his own personality or vision for the state.
