> After making LTCG from Nil to 12.5% > After making STCG from 15% to 20% > After making STT from 0.01 % to 0.05% > After removing indexation on debt funds and taxing at slab rate > After introducing tax on SGB in secondary market from Nil to 12.5% After making so many policy blunders, rupees depreciation and not caring about FII exit, it's so nice of Finance minister to say she is open for public feedback and suggestions. You never needed any public suggestion, it's your arrogance that has put economy in such a big mess. There is no rocket science in knowing that FII would anyday invest in safe US economy at 5% yields because to beat that 5% they've to earn atleast 12-15% in India if you consider rupees depreciation and tax.

@EzyNivesh Man they're taxing debt funds that hardly generate 7% returns at 30% tax slab. How people will be motivated to invest in market.

@mainbhiengineer Hahaha, man, this list hits hard. Feels like they're constantly tweaking things, and always in a way that nips at our returns. Remember when debt funds were a no-brainer? Now it's a whole different ballgame. Just gotta keep adapting, I guess.

This man is working with DD News and getting paid from our tax money. I don't want to work hard to pay salary of this man. Election is 3 years away, is there any way to stop my tax going into paying someone who is calling a student Pakistani just because he raised questions?

@HaddHaiYaar Inflation is going to be high now. On top of that rupees depreciation and RBI may increase the interest rate as well to control inflation. It's going into a loophole

Whenever She says she will re-evaluate the tax system, I get scared that she may increase LTCG, STCG and STT again. Btw today she didn't say - FII/FPI may come and go, retail investors are here to support the market. Looks like her own portfolio also making no returns now.
ANI@ANI

#WATCH | Mumbai, Maharashtra: On the stock market performance and investors' demand to re-evaluate the tax system, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman says, "On this specific issue, and on any issue, we are always ready and willing to listen to the people. We will certainly take their (share market investors') inputs..." On the Rupee, she says, "As I have mentioned, we have a lot of input and suggestions, not only on the rupee but also concerning investments. We have gathered a vast amount of feedback; some of it has come in voluntarily from the public, while other inputs have been collected internally through various departments. We are currently reviewing every single one of these suggestions..."

@mainbhiengineer He is doing exactly what he’s paid for. You’re too innocent if you think otherwise. When NEET paper leaks were happening, these a-holes were busy discussing “melody” on purpose. I’m honestly surprised he hasn’t blamed Nehru for this yet.

One CBSE student came on Twitter to share his problems with CBSE answer sheet checking and suddenly Paid-unpaid supporters have started calling him Pakistani, deep state and soros agent. Genuine concerns are being called conspiracy and then you wonder how CJP got 22M followers.

@mainbhiengineer Petrol prices don’t stay at petrol pumps. They slowly enter every bill you pay.

Petrol price increase looks fine to you because you may think that I don't have a vehicle and I use public transport so why it should matter to me but the problem is that it's just the beginning of the chain reaction that will travel in your daily life through inflation. > Suddenly your Tea cup will cost 20 instead of 15. > Samosa becomes 25 from 20. > Fruit & vegetables become costly > Swiggy, Zomato and Quick commarce delivery will be costly. > Ola Uber and auto ride become costly > Your kids school transport fee gets increased. And all these prices will remain increased for every coming generation, once Samosa become 25, I've never seen it becoming 20 ever again.

@mainbhiengineer We pay the penalty every time crude spikes. When it finally drops, the government just quietly pockets the extra profit.

Brent Crude oil already came down from 115 to around 97 now. That's almost 15% decrease in price. Meanwhile in last 10 days 4 times petrol diesel price has been increased more than 10%. Keep an eye on Brent crude oil price, if we get some positive news from war front, it will further go down, but increased petrol price may never see a rate cut.

Questions that people in power should be looking for an answer is > what pushed 20M people to join Cockroach Janta party within a week? > Why there is so much dissatisfaction against current system and Govt that people desperately following a satirical page? > Is this because of rising unemployment, inflation, corruption, paper leak, castism, poor infrastructure or losing trust from institutions? Instead of these they are asking questions like, Who founded it? What is founder's history and misleading people about origin of followers and funding etc. It may just an online trend right now but if Youth issues aren't resolved, it won't take time to get converted into votes. The huge success of CJP tells that People are desperately looking for an alternative.

@mainbhiengineer 20M people joining an Instagram page in 4 days can't be organic. That's the answer. It was a calibrated social media campaign to make BJP look unpopular. BJP may have it's faults but a random online account is not the answer to the public's problems on ground.
