MCS has won the 2021 Project Innovation Awards given by @SimAustralasia during #SimCongress21! SBE Programme in Myanmar was a collaborative international project led by @SimEdRam which used an innovative #simulator for improving outcomes for children in managing intussusception!

@IanMeducator @j_stokesparish There is probably less than there should be! The main advantages of video gaming is the 2D-3D visualisation and also the depth perception that is transferable to laparoscopic skills but this is only for the initial curve... I think AI would be better! 😂

@j_stokesparish The original tweet was meant mischievously as was mine but yes if you wish to be rid of a chunk of your job then it would need to be outsourced. It might be more efficient to teach a 19 year old who has grown up playing video games how to do a laparoscopic appendix or colonoscopy
