Don't worry guys, just stop being a Male Vtuber 👍 It's not that hard. Maybe just have some personality, or be talented or...
Wait, VTubers never really block women entirely from collabing with them? It's only really men who get rejected from massive amounts of VTubers' collabs? Oh, it's because all male VTubers are gross? Right, right. Be better guys. It's all YOUR fault 🙄 If it weren't for that one guy you've never heard of, people wouldn't be disgusted by you. Do better bro. Have you ever thought about not being a Male VTuber?
Yes, this happens a LOT with English VTubers. Tons of larger creators will never have men on their streams, ever. VTubers we all look up to
I get creators doing what they want to do but men are rejected in so many ways in this space—it's actually sad. Collabs, art, and of course there are things beyond anyone's control like being a niche within a niche
It's hard for everyone. I know. Content creation can be hard, but a lot of men in this space seriously struggle, and it's effectively almost impossible for a Male VTuber to find any success at all here. They can be the best creator to ever walk the earth, the most talented person ever, the hardest working ever, and they will never, ever, make something of themselves. Ever. Ask yourself, how often do you see a Male VTuber explode overnight? There are very rare cases, but it effectively doesn't happen, at all
When they talk about their struggles, they get shit on in profound ways for merely being frustrated and upset about it lmao
They lose friends, get slandered, hated for even merely expressing the possibility that they can have it hard
I've been in this space for 5 years full time. I love what I do, I'm good at what I do and I got to where I am through merit, struggle, and perseverance alone. I'm confident in what I've built here, so I don't mind talking about this stuff
The fact is, if men even talk about their struggles in this space they'll be rejected and hated. "Friends" will abandon them, hate them, and join in on people harassing and abusing them. Then, to their face, they'll say "It's not harder for you," often without the men in question even saying it's harder for them. People just automatically label it as that
A lot of men get this, but they avoid talking about it, or questioning it, or talking about their own struggles because they know it's not politically correct to the space, and they'll be hated for it. So they don't talk about it, they mask and they play along to hopefully one day make something for themselves. They want to be accepted, so they don't rock the boat
At the end of the day guys, it's fucking hard for you. The solution is to work your ASS OFF, be the best and push as hard as you fucking can. Personally though, I suggest just having fun. It's next to impossible for you, but that doesn't mean you can't still have fun, and enjoy this for what it is. You'll meet so many incredible people—And shitty ones lol but ignore them—you'll make amazing memories, experience the most kind, and generous people you've ever met and if you really push to live in truth, in authenticity, you'll be able to express yourself, and have an impact on people's lives who really need it
Also sorry, this post ended up being long as shit 😂
