10th in my @ARCA_Racing Kansas debut in 2022 - guess I didn't have a cool nickname or enough followers to put my arm around @kaitlynvincie and get an interview...
FIFA having its corrupt way with every single city and country its ever touched until suddenly being shocked and stunned into submission by a final, even more corrupt thing: New Jersey
Remarkable tonight, as FIFA go on record to accuse New Jersey of a “chilling effect” on the World Cup with high transit prices. That is the FIFA of unprecedentedly high match tickets, $300 car park spaces, 30% cut on every exorbitantly sold ticket on their own resale platform.
Numerous ships making the break for the Strait of Hormuz this evening have made abrupt U-turns and are heading back towards the Persian Gulf.
Over a dozen ships have already turned back.
The amount of tickets up on FIFA’s Last Minute sale phase, at least from the time of this tweet, is ~29,700.
The 5 games with the most tickets up for sale are:
1. Cabo Verde v Saudi Arabia - 13,215
2. Jordan v Algeria - 3,099
3. USA v Paraguay - 2,826
4. Algeria v Austria - 2,816
5. DR Congo v Uzbekistan - 1,916
My bro in suburban Denver says there's an absolute "plague" of kids on e-bikes and e-dirtbikes bombing around the streets and neighborhoods at high speeds.
7-14 year old boys equipped with capabilities they're not mature enough to handle safely, drive like banshees through yards and intersections and golf courses etc.
I don't see too many of those here in small town TX and when I do they don't seem to be terrorizing anyone.
Curious if this is happening where you live or not. Is this a big deal?
@CouchRacerShop Imagine paying $150 for a seat that barely fits a child. The expensive Petty Terrace seats at @ItsBristolBaby are 6 inches smaller than tower seats at Dega and Daytona.
It’s funny to me that Jamie McMurray calls a race virtually from a studio on Saturday and then has to go all the way to the track Sunday to be on-site for FOX
With Andretti Global’s decision to park its fourth entry, the IndyCar Series continues to sit one car short of filling its minimum number of starting positions. To date, 31 cars have been confirmed. racer.com/2026/04/10/fin…
@SkyscraperTree1@latsondheimer Yeah. The car is bunk too. I’m hoping when OC Vibe is complete we get better mass transportation all around. More trains. I can walk from arctic right into the stadium. Of course, I’m also waiting for Arte to sell the team.
There comes a point where the price of admission, price of parking, price of food becomes too much in the sports experience. I don’t know how it is in small towns but it’s reaching a point of no return for many in Los Angeles. Problem.
@SotoSocial@latsondheimer I’m coming from CM/NB area and luckily I can walk to a few different bus stops. Leaving is pretty easy, the only negative is if you barely miss a bus at the end of the game and have to wait 15 or 20. But if you were in your car you’d probably be creeping trying to leave the lot.
@SotoSocial@latsondheimer For ducks I take bus to artic, for angels there’s a stop right at an intersection at the other end of the parking lot. Both less than 5 min walk to ticket gate
