I understand it’s against EIU, but we should be talking more about rising sophomore Justin Hill. Untapped upside as a pass rusher, but the high-level edge-setting + overall versatility (on or off-ball, plays in space and drops) are already there. Going to play… a lot.

I’m very happy that Don Lemon was arrested but there is one extremely important caveat now that it’s been done: He HAS to be convicted and sent to prison for an extended length of time. If he is not convicted or not seriously punished then this whole thing is an unequivocal win for him. It makes him a martyr and ten times more famous with no significant consequence. Lemon was totally irrelevant prior to this. Nobody watched his show or even knew that he was still alive. Now he’s relevant again. He’ll almost certainly get another job in cable news on the heels of this. The only way to make this a win for the good guys is to punish him severely. Make the reward of fame and martyrdom not worth the cost. If you won’t do that then you never should have arrested him.

I don't think Formby was as bad as his reputation among some fans. Like I said before, I think he was sorta fringe SEC starter level. I wasn't celebrating when he left. Not that I wanted us to write him into a starting role in pen. But I thought from a football standpoint, as much as we were losing, bringing him back would be good. If anything, he'd at least provide good competition at a spot. With a little improvement, I could see upside as a solid SEC starter. I do think that's best case. And I don't think "solid SEC starter" as best case for a right tackle/guard is worth "well into seven figures" based on what I know about the current market. I want someone who can be one of the best five or so right tackles in the SEC for that sort of money.

Texas A&M paid RT Wilkin Formby "well over seven figures" to transfer, per @TheMillersEdge. That's wild money for a player who was a fringe SEC starter in his Bama days. Interesting when we get details on certain agreements.
