RIP Halo 3 servers Huge thanks to @Bungie for giving us what I consider to be not only the greatest FPS of all time but also the greatest game of all time. I've never had more fun in a game than when I was playing Halo 3 and I don't think any game will ever match it💙

@JakobFel @Pirat_Nation There used to be a good reason, but Phil Spencer fucked that up for everybody lol. Competitive integrity for PvP was king on console. PC full of cheaters. But crossplay is pretty much forced now so that's an L on the console side.

@Str8Nirvana @Pirat_Nation The difference is that they're a PC developed by a company that appreciates and promotes the openness of PC. They can be upgraded as necessary, by the individual. There's literally no good reason to use a locked down console instead.

@ShittyHaloTakes Limited Exclusivity hurts just as much as going full 3rd party. PS & PC players will just wait, get a more bug free finished product and pay less years later, maybe even bundled w/ DLC. Flip side, no one will be interested in a 2yr old live service w/ a new one on the horizon

Limited exclusivity makes sense. Halo MCC SHOULD be on Playstation with cross-platform play. But new Halo games should spend a good year or two exclusive to Xbox.

@WyleEZtv @pcgamer There have been quite a few games that run better on gamepass than Steam (Forza, CoD, Starfield, Sunset Overdrive, No Mans Sky, Space Marine 2 etc) Real issue is that the Xbox PC app is slow, breaks all the time, sucks to navigate and lacks competitive pricing

@pcgamer The game pass ports play like shit. The UI is annoying and resource heavy. Look at Steam. You should be able to make something that works well with Windows. Get GTAVI to release through the XBox App.

Completely honest if your fps multiplayer game doesn’t have tdm or some sort of control point mode then I don’t give a shit about it.

Maybe it's just me, but I genuinely struggle to see how Halo would even work as an extraction shooter. For once, can this series stop chasing trends with every new release and just be unapologetically itself?

It’s stuff like this that just makes the game feel unplayable on MNK man. The advantage from controller can be felt in so many areas. On top of this, controller aim assist works while being blinded by a flashlight, whereas MNK players are left at a significant disadvantage.

@Aiyakiu @umadori0726 Pretty much everyone I know that tried to get in to FF14 ☠️ Even me when I first started. It's just an awful experience all around. If the gold saucer doesn't save them and hold them over there's little chance they're coming back and trying again.
