@Leon131284 Great image mate! If you've dithered and drizzled you might be able to crop in a little bit and get more of the galaxy in the frame since the resolution has doubled.

This is M81 & M82 (plus 2 smaller galaxies). Taken in Bortle 2/3 skies under full moon. I had a couple extra hours of time after the Seagull nebula set, so decided to go for this target. I'm quite impressed that you can see some details in the galaxies arms even though its a focal length of 250mm. Equipment used. Telescope: William Optics Spacecat51 Camera: ZWO ASI2600MC Pro Mount: Celestron AVX Filter: Optolong L-Quad enhance (Probably didn't need this) This was stacked (Drizzlex2) and processed in Pixinsight. 39x180s Frames. Almost 2 hours total integration.

This is the first images in AGES from my remote rig in Southern Spain…the weather has been truly awful the last few months there! First world problems aside, I’m pleased to have completed my study of M67 in the constellation of Cancer, which is sometimes referred to as the King Cobra Cluster…or if you’re a James Bond fan, the Golden Eye Cluster. ;) This loose collection of over 500 stars make this a nice open cluster to image and the vibrant colours of the stars around the cluster itself, frame it rather nicely I think. If you squint REALLY hard, you might just be able to make out some very small, faint fuzzies dotted around the field. This beautiful deep sky object lies around 1,500 light years from Earth and is nicely positioned for us currently up here in the northern hemisphere. Hope some of you are getting some time at your scopes and clear skies to you all! 🔭📸✨🦀 ⏱️ 8h 46’ 🎯 NGC7822 🔭 StellaMira 90ED Triplet 📸 ZWO 2600MM Pro 🔭 iOptron CEM40 ⭕️ Antlia RGB 36mm 💻 Beelink GK Mini

3 targets in 1 frame. Jellyfish Nebula Monkey head nebula M35 Every tiny dot in this image is a star. Some like our Sun. Some much bigger. Some possibly with planets. Space is wild! #space #astronomy #Nebula #stars

M101 the Pinwheel galaxy. It’s around 21 million light years away, which means the light in this image started its journey before humans even existed in their current form. Every tiny speck around it is either a distant star or another galaxy. The universe is unreal.

@Leon131284 I mean have your own remote set up, so you can log into your back garden pull the roof back remotely and start imaging. Cost alot of cash but worth it haha. Yeah very short, I even put a focal reducer in bringing to 230mm l, I love the widefield stuff.

Oh that'll be good to have. No idea if there's a remote site near me, but have never looked. Hope your balance issue doesn't cause too much problem. You scope looks like a fairly short focal length so that'll work in your favour. Plus if its only slight, I'm sure your mount will cope. 🤞

@Leon131284 That usually happens to me, hopefully in the future ive got a remote set up for when I am working so I can utilise every clear night. got a balance issue on my scope and mount, theres not really a way around it so hopefully doesnt cause much of an issue

@StuartRossAstro It's due to be clear here too. But I'm bloody working. Typical! Hope you get plenty good data. It's supposed to get colder, so hopefully more chance of some clear skies.

The first event in 2026 that caught my eyes was a prominence eruption on the southeast limb, immediately followed by a brightening (not quite a filament eruption?) to the west. They may have been not related. This animation is made up with AIA 304Å images blended with 171Å.

Heres another edit on my M42 and Orion Nebula, this time I've added more stars into the image, few people have said they prefer this. Im still a bit unsure. Let me know what you guys think about it compared to my other 2 versions posted previously #orionnebula #astronomy #space #horseheadnebula

The Horsehead Nebula A cold, dense cloud of gas and dust silhouetted against a glowing wall of hydrogen in Orion. This iconic shape is a stellar nursery, where new stars are forming deep within the darkness, sculpted by intense radiation from nearby massive stars. ✨ My focus wasnt too sharp for this but over the next couple of days I will be installing an autofocuser so I no longer need to do the manual tweaks for sharpness

M42 Orion Nebula This is a crop in of my previous image, great quality for socials but not for large prints and I think it looks great. Hopefully got a couple of clear nights approaching and I can get out with the scopes for some more images.

A few years ago i was lucky enough to be working at an event Brian Cox was attending, had a one of my prints ready with a pen to sign it for me and below he wrote "a magnificent view of the universe" It was an incredible experience and even having a short conversation left me buzzing for weeks, he asked about my process as he knows what it takes to take these images then I asked what scopes he had as i was curious. @ProfBrianCox
