@Henrix_k a lottttt. Architects are very very creative if you are to look at social media, how many bad designs have you seen an architect designed so far? I've seen wonderful and beautiful designs and at the end of the day, it all falls down to the client Architects are really trying

@snoyesnr3 he tried his best considering the land that was provided everybody know 3m by 3m is small, he knows that it's small but given the land size he did what he could the guy that criticised the work didn't see that aspect

All I know is that nobody grows like this. Super love what you have been doing my bro. You are talented Architect. It is important everyone is open to critique. The 3 x 3m room is a small room when you consider the furnitures that will be there. This is not how to go by things.

Architecture Twitter can be funny They’re quick to critique your design but offer no solutions A 20×10 plot, after setbacks, leaves about 12.5×7 for a 3BD B/G Someone said 3x3 rooms are small Told them to design theirs and show how they’d get bigger rooms I’m still waiting

@Henrix_k @vangeorgh nope client wey like to cut budget and add things they aren't supposed to add architects will do create a wonderful masterpiece only for the client to say they don't want it are we stupid to advice them to do it that way? they make it look like we don't know what we are doing

@vangeorgh I disagree The average person can only comprehend what they see or what they are used to If Designers and architects start getting creative with their designs, trust me people will adapt as far as its beautiful

Check the replies and see people say ‘let the owner do what they want’ that is why a lot of buildings are they way they are today. Then you people will turn around and still point fingers at Architects for following your ignorant design choices. I don’t blame you people sha; I blame the Architects that actually follow your ignorance in the name of ‘the client is always right’

I agree Personally I feel like Nigerian interior designers and even Architects are lazy and not innovative I wonder why

‘Let people do what they like’ but you people will later turn around and criticize Architects at the slightest opportunity. Most of you are hypocrites.

@Abu_Mikey @OyinAjibade young man, it's not just about the space but also the surroundings if you insist on making the rooms bigger, how much fresh air from the surrounding environment will enter the space even if the space was bigger? putting green area purifies the air and helps with the temperature

@OyinAjibade From experience, 3×3 m rooms are generally not considered standard. In most states, bedroom designs below 10.8sqm typically do not meet approval requirements. Also, 3x3m rooms are generally uncomfortable to live in.

If a developer builds 3m × 3m rooms, we call it greed, we say they should do better. So what’s worse, greed, or an architect knowingly designing 3m x 3m rooms just to win a "plant trees" debate? Suddenly forgot about anthropometry and ergonomics because we have to plant trees?

I shared a photo to show that land size isn’t an excuse for zero greenery. But agenda must agend. The message was ignored — people focused on the design and called it unsustainable. So now, I’ve taken my time to design one on the same plot size.

@DeMarvel_AG @nextlevel71 @vangeorgh I swear we have been criticised so many times in our drawings, even when it seemed perfect they must have something to say now it has become a normal thing to us. it's more of like we are waiting to get criticised 😹💔 do you know how crazy that is? It's not crazy to Architects

I get the constraints — land cost & size, client demands. But that’s not an excuse for zero greenery This is a 20×10 plot with space for a tree, greenery, and 2 cars It shows that even within tight constraints, good design can still prioritise sustainability and livability
