If you've been doing something the same way and not getting the desired results, it's time to make a change.
When I was preparing for my practical driving test, my first driving instructor kept pointing out my faults and telling me I would fail. In a 2hr driving lesson, I probably heard the word "fail" at least 30 times. I started thinking I'll probably never get this right. Till I changed my instructor.
Changing my instructor was the game changer. He was patient and calm and always reassured me that my mistakes were caused by nerves and reassured me that he couldn't see why I will not pass this test. His emphasis was on "pass". At every lesson I heard " there is no reason why you won't pass this test". He focused on the positives and that helped build my confidence.
Fast forward to test day, I passed it at first attempt.
