@BardoUmbra @Slipthorns_ My tweeter in christ, the only reason the budget is insane is because GTA Online has been an infinite money glitch for rockstar for a decade and they KNOW at worst, its breaking records on day 1. It could be trash after you beat the story but by then theyve sold millions.

@ARCRaidersNews for those asking why streamers should be “treated differently” its because streamers are marketing for the game. They help keep up the popularity & help new players join - if streamers like your game and are not having a fun time DUE to cheaters or stream snipers its not good

ARC Raiders doesn’t have a cheating problem, it’s mostly stream sniping Embark should bring the anti-stream sniping features from THE FINALS over to ARC Raiders It still shocks me they haven’t done it yet, they already have really solid options in TF.

yes, self-revives, bubble shields, and grenades are op but i think the people who call for inventory limits do not understand what makes a combat sandbox a SANDBOX you are free to build your character however you want, and if i want to bring 30 claymores, i should be able to the game needs to do a better job of disincentivizing people bringing in self revives by making them incredibly rare the game needs to do a better job of disincentivizing people bringing in 10 stacks of grenades by increasing the time it takes to throw the game needs to do a better job of disincentivizing people spamming bubble shields by further nerfing their duration and HP there are far better and more intuitive solutions to these problems than just slapping on inventory limits

@SupaKnight87 @canihavethisuwu @FarrisOfThemAII The campers dont care about contracts and they know that it has a much better ROI to wait for a player to bring you their good loot instead of going after it yourself. Their playstyle only affects the players who engage with the systems that youve described.

@Max_love55 @FarrisOfThemAII people will find a way to do it. If the limit is two mins whats stopping someone from finding a room looting one, waiting, looting another, waiting, etc. That room in this clip sometimes spawns multiple arms lockers and smaller boxes.

@SupaKnight87 @FarrisOfThemAII Ok, then again you wouldn't notice this system at all. I don't see why introducing this system would be such a big problem, knowing that is so hard to trigger and it only affects (in your opinion) such a small portion of the population.

@Max_love55 @canihavethisuwu @FarrisOfThemAII The more active players arent always dying to campers. Hell they are about to buff recon and thief is already a solid camper counter as well. Im 125 hrs into Marathon with atleast 80 of those in solos - its not that much of an issue 🤷🏻‍♂️

@isolatedrook @MidaRunna All it takes are a few lucky runs. Honestly Ranked Outpost increased my purple salvage significantly by getting carried into pinwheel and getting out once lobbys were basically empty. Im 1 away from this upgrade rn (think im shy of 60rn level wise)

@Max_love55 @canihavethisuwu @FarrisOfThemAII Im sorry I disagree. Theres so much in this game that promotes movement (contracts, events, pois with specific resources for upgrades, exfils). This isnt as big of an issue as you are making it out to be. Yes, people play scared like this - but people also move 🤷🏻‍♂️

@SupaKnight87 @canihavethisuwu @FarrisOfThemAII Thats why I said "mostly". Also in solos having to exfil is irrelevant because rooks dont spawn, if youve killed one or two players and track some exfils you can just go take a late exfil free of risk because you have the lobby to yourself.

@Max_love55 @FarrisOfThemAII I mainly play solo and move a ton working on contracts. There are slower moments but I dont sit for minutes. I killed many people yesterday alone because I heard them, stopped moving, and got em when they were exposed. They probably thought I was camping when I was not at all.

@SupaKnight87 @FarrisOfThemAII I know it sounds hard to believe, but it is a big issue for solos, ive personally encountered many players who do it. Thats why you dont really meet campers in trios, players are always moving, in solos 50% of the times you die is vs a camper who has been there for MINUTES.

@Max_love55 @canihavethisuwu @FarrisOfThemAII The circle isnt solely there to address camping. Exfils and time limits are there to address camping in Marathon. Theres no safe pocket - for that kill to matter this camper has to move. To get in position and to leave the game successfully.

@canihavethisuwu @SupaKnight87 @FarrisOfThemAII Not really, it would just kill camping, most of the other playstyles would be unaffected. The circle in battle royales is also designed (in part) to kill camping, and no one complains, because they know its a good thing for the game

@Max_love55 @FarrisOfThemAII Im on the opposite side. I dont think its as much of an issue as people think. People just die from someone in a corner and assume they were there just waiting when they likely were being active, heard noise and waited for a sec. Thats way more likely than sitting for 20 mins.

@SupaKnight87 @FarrisOfThemAII No, im saying that this playstyle is not worth saving because its the least interesting and it would come at the expense of warping the entire game. And that removing it would be easy and it wouldn't impact anyone else. Its also not a few who use it.

The Repeater is one of my favorite weapons in Marathon, but... no one really uses it? Today, I have an in-depth guide on it. Damage, stats, ttks, gold mod and more. A VERY unforgiving weapon, but has extremely high damage if you're landing. youtu.be/u9-0jgV0bLA

@Max_love55 @FarrisOfThemAII So your saying you dont want a system to combat this playstyle? Im confused because I agree, its not worth implementing a system to address the few that use it. Camping wont ever “stop”. BRs and extractions try by forcing movement via the storm or extraction points/time limits

@SupaKnight87 @FarrisOfThemAII It is also the strongest and cheapest, which is why its a problem, and theres no real way of balancing it without warping the whole game completely, I really dont think the juice is worth the squeeze when you take into account how boring it is

@soulince4442 @FarrisOfThemAII You can say that for any decision in the game: Why knife instead of using your gun? why not push a team 1v3 instead of waiting for your team? etc. Why not hear someone running around, tuck in a corner to get more info, and then oh damn he walked right lol 🤷🏻‍♂️

@flutterwhat @paul4ner And they can - but running and gunning doesnt mean you dont get caught lacking. You make noise, you get caught without cover, you get caught with your knife out etc. I get not having the most patience, I dont 😅 but zero patience in an extraction shooter is crazy haha
