@shrinkleberry Selfs being 2 slot and non stackable could be a solid solution. Also more expensive to buy. A delay would feel horrible especially one that long (maybe 2-3 seconds at most) or cap the self revive speed increases to like 1.5x the most you can achieve

Knives are not the problem and anyone saying they should be buffed is a moron. Self revives need to be addressed ASAP. At least add a major delay before being able to self revive, maybe about 5-10 secs and reduce the speed at which you're able to revive yourself.

@Nokokopuffs the patience is the key that I think many of us lack in these situations - sometimes Im in the zone and lock in but others I get antsy and kinda hit a “no way I win this anyway, just chall them” moment

@Johnblack_ops I think this gives them too much credit. SBMM being “removed” but only via a seperate playlist while calling the sbmm playlist “standard” now that was intentional All the changes were an attempt to boost what they knew would be a down year. Just didnt work.

I can't be the only one who believes that the COD fatigue was intentional for Bo7 to remove things like SBMM, disbanding lobbies, tac sprint, manual doors, just to say that "it clearly didn't do well" so that they can readd everything in MW4

@VindicatusMD @Arrrrash I cant imagine they dont (contracts at least - possibly lore tied to items?) since I would assume the next seasons changes will lead somewhere new lore wise. Cant imagine they make new players start at the beginning - could be wrong tho

I realize it probably never made sense budget wise. But I wish Marathon launched as a single player campaign with the extraction mode for multiplayer maybe at a slightly smaller scale. I think lots of people would have been hooked into the world and then they could have added to the multiplayer over time. But I get that just isn't how games launch these days which is a bummer

@Relaxed008 same. I think hes tired of not being able to game in peace anymore. To be fair, having to game as your job at his level must be miserable. Stream snipers, huge chats being annoying (likely full of passerbys), tage hackers - I get it but its also negative as hell at this point

@Invicta_D2 The art style was a big part of why initially I thought this game wasnt for me. Id think “wtf even is this game” when id see screenshots. BUT once the game hooked me with the lore and gameplay loop - its beautiful as hell to me know. An acquired taste for some perhaps

Streamed Marathon to one of my closest friends that I used to trio Trials with and he stopped watching within 5 minutes and just said it was ugly and that they should have made Destiny 3 instead. Does the art style really filter people that badly?

@MallowTheQueen Yeah the non priority ones do fill that gap but I think them being something that refreshes daily and applies to any run would be nice. Even Rook specific ones as well. Relatively simple addition - could be 1 free item from the Armory (lower level or whatever)

@SupaKnight87 I think Faction Contracts also fill the role of Daily Challenges tbh, so I'm not too bothered about dailies being added. But more reasons to log on in general would be healthy for the game. It doesn't need Destiny levels of variety, but a lil more wouldn't hurt

I think a big reason Marathon doesn't pull in more and more players each day is simply because it doesn't dip into using the typical retention strategies people expect from FPS games. There's no daily challenges, no casual mode. It has an all-or-nothing approach

@JundaFPS Only when the games you play are struggling - prior to Marathon I was “having fun” with my game rotation but it wasnt “hitting” vs now im only playing it, thinking about it, and watching countless content on it. Hopefully you get something that hits soon for you 🫡

@reed_49 @Pijinnn_ Sometimes the drag n drop fumbles when its seemingly not perfect - had it happen with weapons but cores for sure. Hopefully they can smooth it out a bit to require a little less “accuracy” lol

@suicidecord I get what you mean but GTA is an anomaly. This type of dev cycle will not happen again (only reason it did is because Online is a money glitch for them). Imo it should make studios consider stopping yearly drops (cod, sports, etc).

@BalanceBF While I dont think a lot happens there and most players wont even miss the area - I do side with leaving those areas playable, its not like its not there anyway. Plenty of maps have way more area but its either out of bounds or only playable in certain modes which I dont get

@medster101 Ive only made it into pinwheel as rook or since ranked (I get matched with way more knowledgeable randoms). Ive made it out with insane loot and resources that I needed for upgrades. Im going to be working towards doing this solo now as well, so dope to get in there

@VisualFidelity To be fair, outside of peak NFS or Midnight Club I was never into racing games but forza and gran turismo have always looked great to me (altho seemed to have peaked in the last few iterations) but outside of graphics they always seem meh gameplay wise
