@Szietar @SamanthaTaghoy Yes. Consumers are not paying the true cost of these goods, so there is no market signal for them to conserve those resources. The alternative is that those resources get depleted in a few decades.

But if you want to compare the experiences, rape victims are more likely to have their sexual morality questioned, as if what they do/who they are can justify the rape. Murder victims' families don't go through that

@Szietar @xevekiah Why should the legal process change? This is the problem. You want the legal process to bend and change for your own convenience but refuse to see how dangerous that precedent might set overall

@VokunSun @xevekiah The 'normal legal process' is so traumatic that it is the reason women don't want to report. She's not advocating for saying nothing, she is explaining why saying something is so hurtful, humilliating, brutal. Maybe question the legal process not the victims' experience of it
