landlords here in NL can offer you either a permanent rental contract, or a temporary contract for up to 2 years.
there is no loophole where a 2 year contract expires and they can make a new temporary one with you. that would automatically mean you are on permanent terms.
so what do you do as a landlord if you wanna rent your house out for, say, 5 years and then have it back?
yeah, you do 2 years, then you have to kick these people out and find someone else, then repeat that again.
even if you are chill with the first tenants and would gladly have them rent your house for 5 years
