ICYMI in 2020: The All Progressives Congress has confirmed that it will respect the decision of the Court suspending Adams Oshiomhole as the party’s nat'l chairman. Acting Nat'l Sec. of APC, Victor Giadom, told newsmen at the party's nat'l secretariat that APC is a law abiding party.... ADC has no thinking leaders to think through crisis management....

Egbon, this your take is not entirely true. This is a competition, everyone should use whatever strategy possible within the law. I won’t let down my guard just to appease anyone. Success requires strategic determination. This is the most prepared President in the history of Nigeria!

Tinubu had advised last year that the opposition political parties should put their houses in order... He added that he would not help them to do so... He dropped a motivational and an emotional message along that "he would be glad to see them in such disarray" if they fail to put their houses in order...( emphasis mine) According to Napoleon Bonaparte "Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake." It is a principle of strategic patience, implying that one should allow an opponent to continue with an error that will ultimately lead to their own downfall, rather than interfering. In context, it suggests that watching an enemy struggle due to their own pride, ignorance, or fury is more effective than interrupting them. Did we expect APC or Tinubu to , in the name of ensuring there are opposition political parties to contest against him in 2027, call them and tell them how they can manage their internal wranglings and disaffections? That blackmail won't work. They should continue to ask how the only man standing in 2003 with the Alliance for Democracy, fought hard to the top and clinched the presidency against all odds, even though he contested once for the Presidency... While his own political party, APC didn't want him and the Northern Nigeria and South South would prefer a Northern man Atiku to return to power immediately after Buhari a Northern man just ended his tenure. The APC members from South Eastern Nigeria wanted Lawan, the then Senate President. We should stop blaming Tinubu... Couples Should not consistently blame the failure in their marriages to their Neighbors.

Can you pleaae respect the intelligence of those who are not your gullible followers by explaining in specific terms how exactly Tinubu is responsible for this??? They will continue to be in dissaray for as long as they keep failing to take responsibility for their own failures, and for as long as they have disgruntled people like you helping them to make excuses for failure. It was Tinubu that sent Atiku out of PDP. It was Tinubu who sent Peter Obi from Labour. It was Tinubu who forced David Mark and co to hijack the ADC. It was Tiinubu who asked David Mark to file an appeal case and lose it. And If there was no leadership crisis in ADC, why did David Mark file an appeal and lost it???? Bunch of clowns who do not want to put in the work. They will always blame others for their own failure.

FYI: This person who correctly stated the outcome of all of this move since the beginning is not in APC. They were so desperate and focused on just harvesting the anger of the masses after polluting the atmosphere with negativities.
K. D. Ivi-Oreh@NagosBigBoi

Truly disappointed that y’all are making the same fundamental mistakes with ADC. How can the NWC that resigned enmass appoint an interim chairman? Doesn’t an appointment come AFTER the resignation (not before it)? What power do they have to appoint him AFTER they resigned?

Theo, the APC did not criminally and brazenly hijack any party from its original owners. They collapsed their parties to form a new one. It's clear Atiku doesn't have that brain to birth anything of such because it requires tact and intellectual girth. I'm shocked you're glaringly supporting illegality because it favors your party.
Thεό Abu@TheoAbuAgada

And you young people are supporting this aberration. We will all be here. Imagine if Jonathan had used the Court and INEC to frustrate the registration of APC in 2013. We shouldn’t be supporting nonsense like this.

It was Ralph Nwosu as ADC National chairman that wrote this letter to INEC July 21st notifying them of a purported resignation of Bala Nafiu as deputy chair, but David Mark took over as interim chairman July 2nd, so on whose authority was Ralph still writing since Mark and his excos already sworn in as interim executive.....

Around August 2025, @woye1 tweeted and explained to @BolajiADC that what ADC was doing was unlawful and asked them to do the right thing so as to be a formidable opposition. He clearly told them that INEC had not recognized David Mark as ADC Chairman...That was August 2025. Oh, na APC dey cause am, no vex🤣🤣

What can opposition ADC do at the moment to salvage the situation? 1. INEC has no fight in this, it's non of their business, they are only following the legal rule... 2. Rafiu Bala didn't resign as deputy Chairman as at the time ADC Chairman resigned and other deputy Chairmen to pave way for David Mark.... 3. Rafiu Bala is the main powerful personality at the moment to decide the turn of event in ADC. Don't joke with him. 4. Around 2020 till year 2022, APC experienced almost the same dram where someone from nowhere rose up to declare himself as the authentic Chairman....APC didn't cry as the ruling party, he was pampered and APC played along until he withdrew whatever he took to court and case was settled amicably.... 5. ADC should simply ask Rafiu Bala for what he wants and try to sort him out...Online noisemaking or media propaganda will not change anything.... Rafiu Bala don blow🤣🤣

PRESS RELEASE INEC’S POSITION ON THE COURT OF APPEAL’S DECISION IN APPEAL NO. CA/ABJ/145/2026: SENATOR DAVID MARK V HON. NAFIU BALA GOMBE & ORS The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has received: A letter from the law firm of Suleiman Usman SAN & Co. dated 16th March, 2026, titled: “RE: NOTICE OF PENDING PROCEEDINGS BEFORE THE FEDERAL HIGH COURT AND CAUTION AGAINST ANY PURPORTED RECOGNITION OF MR NAFIU BALA GOMBE AS ACTING NATIONAL CHAIRMAN OF THE AFRICAN DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS (ADC)” written on behalf of concerned stakeholders within the African Democratic Congress (ADC) A letter from the law firm of Summit Law Chambers also dated 16th March 2026 titled: “DEMAND FOR ENFORCEMENT OF THE ORDERS MADE BY THE COURT OF APPEAL, ABUJA DIVISION IN APPEAL NO: CA/ABJ/145/2026: SENATOR DAVID MARK V HON. NAFIU BALA GOMBE & 4 ORS” written on behalf of Hon. Nafiu Bala Gombe. While the letter from Suleiman Usman SAN & Co urged the Commission not to recognise Mr Nafiu Bala Gombe as acting National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) on account of the pending Suit No. FHC/ABJ/CS/1819/2025: Hon. Nafiu Bala Gombe v. ADC & 4 Ors. before the Federal High Court, Abuja, where the question of the leadership of the Party (ADC) is presently being contested, the letter from Summit Law Chambers, on the other hand, attached the certified True Copy of the Judgment of the Court of Appeal in Suit No. CA/ABJ/145/2026: Senator David Mark v Hon. Nafiu Bala Gombe & Ors and requested the Commission to enforce the judgement of the Court of Appeal, including: Ceasing recognition of Senator David Mark and Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola as National Chairman and National Secretary respectively of ADC; Removing their names from the Commission’s portal; and Refraining from dealing with or recognising any actions taken by them in respect of the party in line with the preservation orders made by the Court of Appeal. Subsequently, by another letter on the same subject matter dated 27th March, 2026, Summit Law Chambers alleged that the Commission had acted in disobedience of the Court of Appeal’s Orders by: i. Inviting Senator David Mark’s group to a political parties’ meeting held on Tuesday, 24th March, 2026; and ii. Monitoring a purported National Executive Committee meeting of that group. The solicitors (Summit Law Chambers) further drew the attention of the Commission to the Motion Ex-Parte and Motion on Notice filed by their client on 15th December, 2025, seeking to prevent the 1st Defendant (ADC) from holding any convention, congress, conference, or meeting and to stop INEC from attending, monitoring, observing or recognising any activities of the ADC. They accordingly requested INEC to invalidate the NEC meeting held by Senator David Mark's group on 25th March, 2026, remove the name of Senator David Mark's group from the INEC portal, stop recognising or acknowledging correspondence from them until the determination of the pending suit before the Federal High Court, Abuja and allow Hon. Nafiu Bala Gombe to take over the affairs of ADC pending the determination of the case, and that INEC should respect the orders of the Court of Appeal in Appeal No. CA/ABJ/145/2026. ORDERS OF THE COURT OF APPEAL In its judgement delivered on 12th March, 2026, the Court of Appeal dismissed the interlocutory appeal by Senator David Mark and made amongst others, the following Orders: “Finally, it is necessary to make preservatory orders to ensure that the subject matter of the dispute pending before the trial court is not prejudiced as Courts have inherent powers to control and regulate proceedings to ensure justice...

No, the matters were already in court before INEC listed the names on their website so INEC is right to remove them pending when the courts will decide who the authentic NEC members are. Failure to do so would mean they're preempting the court and conveying undue advantage on one of the parties to issues. What would you have said if INEC listed the other parties names since they're equally laying claim to the positions in contention?
Sopriala Membere🇻🇦⚓@SoprialaMembere

"Maintain status quo" means preserving the existing state of affairs—keeping things exactly as they were before a particular legal action. It implies that no changes should be made until further orders are given by the court. The court did not say remove any name!!!!

The APC in 2015 was a beehive of intellectual warlords. That's why they knew their best shot was to form a new political party and collapse all their parties and structures into it. They knew stealing an existing party would be disaster waiting to happen.
Thεό Abu@TheoAbuAgada

Dislike them all you want, the then opposition APC wouldn’t have taken this nonsense. The current opposition leaders are a bunch of cowards.

Troops neutralise terrorist, destroy hideout in Kebbi operation By: Zagazola Makama Troops under ongoing security operations have neutralised a suspected terrorist and destroyed a criminal hideout during a fighting patrol in Danko Wasagu Local Government Area of Kebbi State. Security sources said the operation followed earlier aerial intelligence missions that identified terrorist locations and movements within remote communities. According to the sources, troops of CSI Battalion III and 223 Battalion conducted a coordinated fighting patrol on March 30, clearing Mairairai, Dan Makarawa, Yar Maitaba and Kaboro villages. “The troops made contact with the terrorists at Yar Maitaba and Kaboro villages and engaged them in a firefight, forcing them to flee,” the source said. The sources added that one terrorist was neutralised during the encounter, while five motorcycles used by the criminals were destroyed. They further disclosed that troops demolished a hideout belonging to a notorious kingpin identified as Alhaji Ilu, believed to be a key figure in coordinating criminal activities in the area. According to the sources, the operation is part of sustained efforts to dismantle terrorist networks and deny them safe havens across the North-West region. They said troops have continued to dominate the general area with aggressive patrols to prevent the re-emergence of criminal elements.

Obi: Why I’ll work with Malami, @elrufai despite corruption allegations Peter Obi, 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), says he will work with every member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in spite of the corruption allegations against them. Speaking on Saturday on Magic FM in Aba, Abia state, Obi said getting closer to them offers him an opportunity to change them positively if they are guilty. @PeterObi cited Jesus Christ in the Bible, whom he said associated with prostitutes and tax collectors while on earth, to change them positively. “When Jesus came here, his friends were tax collectors and prostitutes because it’s all part of what he was trying to change. It was all part of what he was trying to build as a person,” Obi said. thecable.ng/obi-why-ill-wo…
