ANOH Gas Processing Plant is being operated by the ANOH Gas Processing Company (AGPC), a 50:50 joint venture between Seplat Energy Plc and the Nigerian Gas Infrastructure Company (NGIC), a subsidiary of NNPC Limited. The facility was officially commissioned by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in May 2024 and achieved First Gas in January 2026, marking the commencement of commercial gas processing and supply. The plant is already supplying processed gas to Indorama Petrochemical Company, while operations continue to ramp up towards its full installed capacity. The Renewed Hope National Media Tour continued in Imo State with an inspection of the ANOH Gas Project (Assa North–Ohaji South Gas Project), one of Nigeria's largest natural gas developments and a flagship project under the Federal Government's Decade of Gas Initiative. Located in Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area, the project is designed to boost domestic gas supply, improve electricity generation, support industrial growth, reduce gas flaring, and create jobs. Commissioned by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in May 2024, the facility has already commenced commercial gas processing and is supplying gas to industries, with operations steadily ramping up towards its full processing capacity of 300 million standard cubic feet of gas per day. The Renewed Hope National Media Tour in Imo State continued with an inspection of the ongoing reconstruction of the Orlu–Mgbee–Akokwa–Uga Road in Imo West Senatorial District, a federal road being delivered by the Imo State Government through collaboration with the Federal Government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration. For years, communities along this corridor were isolated by severe ecological challenges that disrupted movement, threatened livelihoods, and constrained economic activity. The 22-kilometre highway is restoring connectivity between Orlu and Akokwa, extending to the Anambra State border and strengthening regional trade, mobility, and economic integration.
