That’s a whole different premium 😂(as I just found out) (Attached some current/recent eBay sold ones… Pokemon Sun & Moon edition going for 515, Samus one nearly 800! Ect….) I’m out here still rocking my red Samus one years later… worth every penny of the “waste of money” lecture from the wife. Some consoles you just keep forever. Haha thats the vibe.. (and it’s really funny that you mentioned that) I actually gave my daughter a Pokemon Sun/Moon 3DS (the white one with black accents) for Christmas too and she still plays it. She was shiny hunting just the other day on it 😂 I had the original non “New” 3DS the golden ver. The “A Link Between Worlds” collector’s edition (still have it buried somewhere in the house). Then the New 3DS XL launched and I instantly grabbed the red Samus Returns edition When it came out. My wife looked at me like I was crazy: “You already have a 3DS ….this is a waste of money! Technically she wasn’t wrong. between the 2DS (my other daughter) my 3DS ( Link edition) and another New 3D (Pokemon Solgaleo Lunala addition) we had an overabundance of Nintendo handhelds 😂 (Ha ha ha!!! Ya right… can never have enough Nintendo stuff) As a sidenote, I just looked on eBay and my daughter’s version is going for 500 bucks used ( 😂)

@TQRooster @marton_bob @gamestop I remember getting the 3DS for Christmas when I was a kid and it’s probably one of my favourite gifts that I’ve ever gotten. I think I played Pokemon Sun all day on that Christmas Day, I was having a blast lol 😂

@TQRooster @marton_bob @gamestop Someone on EBay sold it for $800 but they also sold it with a case and a Metroid game. So it definitely is worth a lot of money. I don’t think you should sell it though if you’re still attached to it. I still have my 3DS cause I’m just attached to the memories with it

Late night emergency call came in around 10 PM. Troubleshot with the customer till 11:45 They wanted me there at 6 AM… I told them 7 because sleep exists 😂 Up at 5:45 out the door 6:10 after maybe 4 hours 20 min of tossing and turning Hour drive to site….replaced a dead hard drive, found more bad parts, swapped cables got it all fixed. Drive home on fumes Then this song hits Nothing like old Limp Bizkit saving the day

Sitting on the Floor Tonight Let’s see it’s been a while since a poem came to me sitting on the floor tonight with my legs crossed tight It’s 8:23 at night and all the babies are restless in their beds We read two books and we put their heads on the soft pillows that keep the children sound asleep waiting for the night to fully engulf the day Sleep tight little ones for the nighttime comes and the wind is found and the sun sets in the west and no more sounds Night rolls in the day to rest And as one child tries to sneak out of bed I will have to say with laughter and giggles “I see you small child back to bed I say” sleep tight child for tomorrow is a new day and tonight we must sleep the rest of the night away

Lucky bamboo update 🌱 A few days ago my daughter was dancing around with the bottom half of the plant (the one that already survived getting snapped in half last fall) The plant was on the floor and she was dancing around it I got worried since the plant was on the floor that she might’ve stepped on it possibly hurt it more so I decided to put it back on the shelf… well that didn’t go over well She started having a little fit because she really wanted to dance with it.. so instead of risking the young plant I gave her the top half and put it up on the boxes like you can see Guess who ended up yanking one of the new offshoots out anyway? My son 😂 So now we’re back in rescue mode: Main stalk and little stem are in plant ICE the fans and humidity around 65%. The pulled piece got a quick trim on the leaf tips, some rooting serum stuck in a rockwool cube and into water under the purple light. These things are tough as hell Keeps getting messed with and just keeps trying to grow. Kinda like life sometimes….. broken or yanked doesn’t mean it’s over I’ll post more if the little cutting actually roots. Anyone else’s plants survive more kid chaos than they should? #ManagedChaos

Full update on the lucky bamboo saga 🌱 Back in October my son decided to test how far our 20 year old bamboo could bend… it snapped clean in half. What was once ONE long piece became TWO survivors. Proof that even when something breaks, with a little love, the right light, and patience… both pieces can come back stronger. Sometimes “broken” just means “time to grow twice as much.” 💪 I think that means the same for us humans. Just because you’re broken does not mean it’s over. (here’s to another 20 years with two bamboo’s instead of one)

Lost my 20-year-old lucky bamboo today. My son decided to see how far it could bend — turns out, not very far. Snapped clean in half. Thankfully I reacted quick, had some rooting serum on hand, cut a small notch to help it absorb, and now it’s sitting under special lights in what’s basically a plant ICU. Trying to bring it back to life. 🌱 Anyone else ever had to rescue a plant you were attached to?
