I have has SO many folk asking me today ‘what can I do?’ about Wes Streeting and the puberty blocker ban. Well, you could send a copy of the attached to your MP and to WS and KS with your endorsement / comment. I’ll be in tribunal on another matter for the rest of this week.

Trans people need to be able to exist safely as themselves with respect & dignity, and with equal access to adequately funded healthcare. I support & stand in solidarity with the trans community —including young trans people — for whom puberty blockers are a life-saving measure.

Puberty blockers have been deemed SAFE for use for kids who aren’t trans. By the sheer magic of being trans, those exact same puberty blockers have been deemed UNSAFE for trans kids. And what’s the difference between them? A word.

I posted this elsewhere. Generally I don’t try to insert myself into spaces that aren’t mine but I’m sick of hearing from bigots claiming to speak for me. #TransRightsAreHumanRights

Tell me how this isn’t rigged? These were the terms set by Kemi Badenoch for recruiting the Cass Advisory Group - the body that would ultimately decide the health fate of the UK trans community. It banned trans people or trans orgs from advising on their own healthcare - along with Gender Specialists. Effectively meaning they had a group of non-experts. #BookmarkCass
