Nah you are okay. I'm overpaying on my mortgage so I can clear that in the next 5 years then I'll place the property into trust for my kids and use some of the money saved on the mortgage to save for their future and put the what's left into saving for my old age in addition to the money I already pay into my pension fund. Last year I invested a fair amount into gold to help them with their house deposits. They are my children, my legacy and my genetic future and I will do my best to ensure they have a the best life I can give them.

The answer to the young people complaining how well off the older generation are is for their parents and grandparents to change their wills and leave their money to charity. Perhaps then young people would have to work as hard and make sacrifices as their forefathers did.

How many women like me were forced to work part-time when their kids were young because there was no free child care, breakfast or after-school clubs then? Pin money hardly gave us chance to build a pension pot so excuse me if I don’t feel guilty about drawing my state pension.
