This is SO common here. I've lost count of the people I know who are deep into New Age practices, even the heavier stuff like astral projection and so on, who vehemently state that they are "good Christians who worship the icons and saints faithfully and go to Liturgy!"

@HairballFrenzy True. However, in Greece/Cyprus we are under the heavy yoke of Eastern Orthodoxy, which is Pharisaism - not Christianity. So it makes sense that they would be susceptible to New Age practices since they already communicate with the dead and make up their traditions as they please
