The park calendar also seems to either not be fully loaded or park is opening nearly a month late (save for a random 4pm close on a Sunday in early May).

Perhaps the most egregious thing is they now classify Adventure Falls as a roller coaster

By the way, Cedar Fair DID get a lot better at this and became a great dabbler in regional park theming. And if you didn’t know, the “new” Six Flags literally *is* Cedar Fair. CF’s executives, CF’s $FUN, and a 51% stake. So… they’re doing good! 👍

It’s truly a momentous day. When Cedar Fair bought the Paramount Parks in 2007, they swiftly “de-themed” any rides referencing movies. Four rides called TOP GUN: THE JET COASTER needed renamed. The winner was “FLIGHT DECK” – perhaps the least dynamic name imaginable. (🧵 1/7)
