No, I wish he didn’t have to be chummy with any of Israel‘s enemies. But Erdogan provided a backstock to further Russian expansion early in the war and has maintained that position. Just like Bibi operates for the benefit of Israel, Zelensky has a country to do the same for. Can’t fault him for that. Some say that’s why Bibi tries to stay cozy with Putin, for favors. I don’t think Ukraine would restrain themselves to sinking sanctioned grain ships in the Black Sea, nor should they. They operate all over. With stunning success.

Israel’s gone from neutral about the largest land war in Europe to now benefiting from Russia’s theft of sovereign land and grain. All this as Moscow backs Iran with targeting packages against U.S. and aligned forces in the Gulf and after it hosted Hamas within weeks of the 10/7 pogrom. Ukraine’s diaspora in Israel may not be as large as Russia’s but it isn’t insignificant either.

Understood. But if you prompt it based on what you observed in watching the videos yourself as opposed to what you imagine, those videos showed, I think you’d get results consistent with the vast majority of people who watch them. Which shows excessive use of force. If there was no problem in all this, the feds wouldn’t be obstructing the state investigation and the civil case against this officer. But they’re literally facilitating obstruction of even a civil case. Because it’s a big cluster and they know it. After he shot her, he didn’t render any aid and he fled the scene. There’s no police training that demands that response. Personally, I hope he loses everything. And his protectors also go to prison.
